Erin is an attorney with a background in business and real estate transactions and construction defect litigation. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Davis and her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University. Self-employed, Erin has provided risk management services to Turman since 2009. She provides oversight for various Company operations including human resources, accounts receivable, marketing, and the Company safety program. She works closely with the Company’s insurance and legal representatives to provide business solutions to minimize the Company’s risk at the same time as providing proactive approaches to enhance the Company’s commitment to safety.
Born and raised in the City of Pleasanton in Northern California, Erin has been active in many of its civic organizations from Rotary, to Leadership Pleasanton (through the Chamber of Commerce), as well as various non-profit organizations. She currently serves on the City of Pleasanton’s East Side Specific Task Force and is an active member of her church where she has served as the Director of Women’s Ministry as well as led multiple Bible studies. She is passionate about helping women discover their calling and purpose for their lives and connecting them with service opportunities. She is a volunteer for Ohana Community Outreach, a non-profit corporation actively meeting the needs of individuals and families in nearby inner-city Oakland.
Erin and her husband are the parents of three active boys and enjoy coaching, managing and cheering for their various sports teams. Erin is a marathon runner and co-founder of “Chasing Sanity,” a local women’s running group. She also mountain bikes and participates in co-ed soccer with her husband and she is an avid reader.
